The SAT Variable Velocity Device is a unique piston and piston head set that allows players to tweak the velocity of their airsoft rifles. The included tool opens small vents in the piston head which allows more air to pass through the piston, dropping the velocity. All of the teeth on this piston are made of steel. The piston head is also metal.
This is only the piston portion of the VVD. Make sure you have the VVD tool included in the full kit.
There are 3 stages to the VVD. The first position allows maximum velocity. The second position will drop the velocity by approximately 20%. The 3rd position will decrease the velocity by approximately 40% from normal. Please note that these numbers may vary depending on the make and model of the gun.
This piston will install in any standard Version 2 and Version 3 gearbox. The piston is not compatible with new series Tokyo Marui, PSG-1, or extended cylinder gearboxes.

This product should be in every airsoft rifle. Without a doubt the best upgrade I’ve ever bought for my rifles. Gives me a gun I can use on way more fields, even in some indoor fields that have very low FPS requirements. I combined this with a C-TAC AEG and am very very satisfied.
